Part 2 Profit: Designing a Profitable Business Model using a Signature Offer

 

I’m going to share with you a high level version of the process I took Sarah through as a Business Mentoring client to show you exactly how you can create an offer and design your business to give you freedom, impact and a lot more income. 

  1. Design your offer to create Impact AND Income 

What is the long term vision and ambition you have for your business? What is the impact you really dream of making?

Your offer needs to be the primary vehicle through which you will create this impact and realise your vision. You need to know your ‘magic number’. The amount you ultimately want to earn through your business and use that to design the products, services and offers that you use to do your best work in the world and support your clients and customers at your highest potential.   1. Align your offer with your lifestyle 

How is your offer designed? How do you love to work? When are you most in flow? How much time do you want to create, to market, to speak, to lead, to deliver, to work with your clients? How can you design your offer so you love to deliver it? 

These questions will keep you from burning out and secretly dreading your own diary. 

Sarah went from £40 an hour working 3 businesses to 1 business and a highly scalable offer that positioned her completely uniquely in the marketplace and was earning £1k an hour within 7 months. Sarah also took off round Spain in a camper van for the winter whilst running her business - her offer was so aligned with her lifestyle! 

  1.   Build as you go

DO NOT feel you need to sit in the dark perfecting a programme all on your own without the client's input - you miss out on so much richness of content and also it's much more profitable to build it and be paid for building it! Both Sarah, Mel and many of my clients have increased their profitability and impact by creating a framework for their offer and then selling their programme before every single part is built and designed. 

 

To create your own Wildly Successful Scalable Signature Offer you need to:

  • Know who your offer is for, know what they need and know the framework that will get them there.
  • Have an outline of your programme and know exactly what your offer is including the results and transformation they will achieve, 
  • Show how you will work with your clients to create the results they deeply desire and the step by step process you will take them through.  

This becomes your signature framework that enables you to completely elevate yourself, your work and your clients results in the marketplace.
