I'm Mel,

I help female leaders and entrepreneurs unlock their legacy and unleash their full potential. 

Why? Because it's how we change the world. And I will settle for nothing less in this lifetime than playing my part in changing the world for the better.

My whole life is dedicated to shining my light brightly and leading the way for other women to do the same.

But it didn't always feel this easy...

 

 

Driven and enthusiastic, in my corporate career I was a “high performer.”

There was a ladder to climb, and I climbed it: promotions, awards, the recognition I craved.

I had a fire in my belly that kept me going when things felt really challenging.

Then one day in a maelstrom of life defining events and traumas, the fire went out. And I burnt out.

I was broken and battered from a lifetime of having to meet a definition of success that was set by others and my own ridiculously high standards.

I felt like a complete failure. I felt endless guilt and 'never enoughness'. I constantly failed to meet the expectations I imagined people had for me. It was utterly exhausting. It felt really, really hard to be me.

Physically my body was exhausted and broken from years of a work-hard-play-hard life. I was in a very dark place mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Dealing with a lifetime of depression and anxiety and chronic health issues related to my stress ridden lifestyle, I knew I needed to take time out to recharge and reset - and that a 2 week holiday wasn’t going to cut it. Acknowledging that need was the start of my healing process.

Walking away from my corporate career was the best thing I ever did.

Curiosity has served me well in becoming who I am... and in creating a successful life. It has also caused me a lot of angst and unnecessary pain and anxiety.

Once I learned the secret - that your soul holds all the answers you seek and you don’t need to go round in endless circles trying to ‘work it all out’ - I knew I would spend the rest of my life helping others to do the same.
