Yesterday was a great day. 

I was reminded of the importance of supporting each other as small business owners, and how easy it can be to make a huge difference in the life of another business owner.

My team keep pleading with me to give them more photos of me - so i listened to a little intuitive hit to reach out to the amazing Stevie J Singh as I realised I could get our paths to cross while I am on holiday in Edinburgh next month.

Stevie produced these amazing shots from an event I ran in Edinburgh in December and really captured the essence of me, the room and the energy we created. 

It didn’t take us long to agree a package, a concept, a plan for our shoot and within a few short hours I had invested in the future of my business - and gained the pleasure of supporting another business.

Stevie shared I was his first booking since lockdown and Covid hit - and it has hit lots of small businesses hard. I was so delighted to be the first person to believe in him and book him - he’s amazing at what he does and if his business didn’t survive this period it would be a huge loss to creativity, beauty, a persons dreams and livelihood.

For me it’s been different. I have had the most successful and lucrative period in my own business in the last 3 months - lockdown, Covid and all.

Why? How?

There are a few key decisions I made which I know have made the difference -

At the very start of all the crazy - I decided to invest some of my profit in bringing on a team to support me. I knew that a critical factor to small businesses surviving in an economic downturn is to KEEP MONEY FLOWING!

I was also able to provide 2 amazing women with some financial security and stability in what has been a very challenging time.

I took a risk. But it was calculated. I was humble enough to ask the people who follow me and are part of my community if they wanted me to make them an offer, launch my new transformational coaching programme and the resounding answer was YES. The world and we need this now more than ever (maybe you can relate?)

Then I got to work.

Because I was supported by my amazing team and Charlie and I decided he would be furloughed to help look after our son, I was able to stay in the main in my creative genius and had an incredibly successful launch.

I had over 200 people sign up to experience my completely FREE coaching challenge - The Wildly Authentic Experience. I doubled my email list and my Facebook Community and signed up some incredible new business mentoring clients who I LOVE!

It took 8 weeks from start to finish and I have been able to share my success with my team and offer them more hours and more security and some personal bonuses.

I could have hesitated, waited, worried and wondered. And for a few moments here and there  I did! But I then got to work getting into alignment, creating the most successful business strategy and letting my soul do the talking to serve at my highest level.
